Bedsores are painful injuries that occur due to prolonged sitting or lying in the same position for a long time. Particularly in the elderly, bedsores are uncomfortable and difficult to treat because to their fragile, thin skin. Bed sores can happen to those who are ill from long periods, bedridden or sitting on a wheelchair for a long period, and those who are malnutrition especially the elderly persons. The elderly may have absorption disorders and need therapeutic doses of nutrients. My mother was bedridden for 12 years before she passed away at the age of 87. She was lying on the mattress for a long period of time and she did not have bedsore. Leg Cramps

A Leg cramp is a sudden spasm that occurred in the leg. It often occurs just as you are falling asleep or waking up lasting a few seconds to a minute.
