What is Kidney disease? A brief explanation about kidney disease:  Our kidneys contain millions of tiny filtering units known as nephrons. Kidney disease occurs when these filtering units are damaged. The damaged occurs slowly over many years and often due to diabetes and high blood pressure. This will lead to building up of waste and fluids inside the body. It is called chronic kidney disease and the disease usually gets worse slowly until the kidneys fail, also called end-stage renal disease (ESRD). This is the last stage of chronic kidney disease which needs dialysis or a kidney transplant.   There is no known cure for chronic kidney disease with medicines. Medical treatment can only help to relieve symptoms, slow or prevent progression of the condition. Another type of kidney disease is acute kidney injury and caused by certain medications, illness, critically ill people, those already have chronic kidney disease, etc. The kidneys suddenly stop filtering waste products from your blood and can be fatal. Urine Colors

Urine Colors White color – you have drunk too much water. You need to cut back. You may have eaten too many fried foods and heat in your body. Remedy:- Drink herbal tea (for cooling) Honey color – you did not drink enough water. Dark or brown color – Maybe you have a liver problem Pink to red color – a little blood in the urine. Check with your doctor. (But if you have eaten dragon fruits or beets recently, then it is not a problem) If pink to red color with pain, maybe you have kidney stones. When you pass urine, a lot of bubbles are forming in your urine and it won’t disappear after five minutes due to excess protein in the urine, it is likely you have kidney disease. Normal bubbles usually disappear in less than five minutes.

Check Your Feces

Check your feces. If your stool can meet the following patterns, then your intestines are healthy. (1)   Brownish color  (2)    Long and soft (like a banana) (3)   Floating (4)   Not Very Smelly       Normal stools have an unpleasant smell. But if the stools have an extremely bad smell, you need to pay attention to it. Onion, garlic, meat, seafood, spring onion can also cause smelly stool. If black and foul-smelling stool, you may have bleeding in the intestine due to an ulcer, tumors, indigestion of iron. Pale yellowish foul-smelling stool   - may be a poor absorption of fat. Dark red or maroon stool – may be some bleeding in the colon. Red stool may be you have Hemorrhoids Smelly stool may be you have intestinal infections,  toxin, and  malabsorption (difficulty absorbing nutrients from food) Check with your doctor if you have these problems. Other colors of stool: Green stool may be normal or if you have eaten green vegetables. It may be you have diarrhea as the stool passes through the intestine too quickly. Certain medications such as laxatives and antibiotics can cause green stool. Black stool may be you have taken iron supplements. or  (constipation problem) Stool that floats – If you have taken high fiber food (Or poor digestion due to gas) Stool does not float because you have taken too much fat. Sticky Poo:- Maybe you have eaten too much meat and high-fat diet. Try to eat dark leafy greens like kale and some chia seeds. Psyllium husk and oat may be helpful. If you cannot control your pooing, your kidney is weak. Try to eat the 'Kidney Tonic' as suggested above.
