Clean your PC without third party tools. Type in the search box:   %temp% Click open the temp file folder, delete all the file. Skip some of the files which cannot be deleted.

Type in the search box:   temp Click Delete temporary file.

Go to start, click Run A window popup. Type prefetch and click ok Another window will popup showing many unwated files. Highligt and delete all. A window will pop up, you will find all the unwanted files. Delete all of them.

How To Format and Clean Install Windows 10

Windows 10 may cause all sorts of issues, if that happened, you need to reset it or best to format and re-install the windows back to your PC. If you tried all the above cleaners haven't solved your PC problem, you need to format and reinstall a "clean" copy of Windows back to your computer. A clean installs of windows will erase everything from the drive that Windows is installed on. Here is a step by step process to prepare a clean installation of the OS.  Note: This guide is for installing Windows 10 64-bit for newer ASUS laptop with UEFI firmware and GPT format hard disc.

Download  Windows 10 ISO file

Microsoft Windows 10 Installation / Media Creation Tool To download Windows 10 from Microsoft, download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool. It is a media creation tool to download the Windows 10 and create a bootable USB pen drive. USB pen drive is recommended for installing Windows 10 64-bit in a newer Laptop with UEFI firmware and GPT format hard disc. If you want to install Windows 10 in 32-bit old PC, you have to create a bootable DVD disc with Media Creation Tool. This tool is highly recommended. It can create a bootable USB pen drive or DVD disc automatically.  Click here to download Media Creation Tool After you have downloaded the Media Creation Tool, click and run it as follow. Insert a blank USB Pen drive in your laptop.

Choose "Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file)"

Choose 64-bit, Click "Next"

Choose "USB flash drive", click "Next"

Select the Correct Pen drive to create a bootable USB Pen drive, and click "Next"

If you download Windows Iso file from one of the following links, you need to download Rufus to create a bootable Windows USB pen drive. You'll need at least 8GB of storage space on the flash drive to do a clean installation of Windows 10 ISO file.  After you have downloaded Windows 10  ISO file, you will see an ISO image when you run the Rufus.

(1) Insert your pendrive into your laptop.   (2)Run Rufus, you will see the above image. (3) Select the device (USB Pendrive) (4) Select Boot selection (ISO image) (5)Select File system (NTFS) (6) Click Start (7) Wait until it finished (8) Pendrive is ready to install Windows

How to install Windows 10 with a bootable USB Pen drive

Before you install Windows to your new laptop,  you  need to disable Security Boot and do some settings.  Asus laptop First time setting:  Watch This Video. How to install Windows 10 on Asus Laptop - Enable USB Boot in Bios Settings

Follow These Steps: Power ON your laptop. Press several times the ESC key to boot up. ENTER Setup. Go to the Security Tap. (Use Arrow key to move) Go to Security Boot Menu. Disable it & press ESC key. Go to Boot Tap. Go to LAUNCH CSM - Enable it. Press F10, click yes. Save & exit. After you have done the above setting, you can install the new Windows in your PC. Follow These Steps: Insert your USB pendrive into your laptop. Press Power on. Press ESC key- several times to Boot menu. Choose UEFI USB DISK  Click ENTER to boot from USB Pendrive Choose Windows 10 X64 and press ENTER.  Follow on screen instructions to continue installation. Choose the same version of Windows as the original installed in your PC. Windows 10 can activate the key automatically when you are online. If you want to install other version of Windows, you will need to buy a new licence key. After you have installed the windows, you may need to set the Boot from HDD. When you restart your PC, it will boot from the HDD. When you want to reformat your laptop again with USB pendrive the next time. Follow these simple steps. Press POWER ON. Press ESC several times until it boot up. Choose UEFI USB DISK (The USB Pendrive with Windows) Press ENTER. Follow on screen instructions to continue installing Windows.

RUFUS Rufus is a utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives to install Windows.

If you want to create a Pendrive with Rufus to install Windows in older Laptop, select the Partition Scheme to MBR. For newer laptop with GPT hard drive, set the Partition drive to GPT.

Note: If you install Windows with a disc in a newer laptop with GPT hard disk and a message tells you 'Windows cannot  install in GPT disk', you need to convert to MBR disk hard disk using mini-partition tool or use a command prompt.  Watch the Videos.
